How do you know that you are ready for Heaven?

Dose anyone feel forsure that you are going?
I want to be ready when Jesus comes but Im not sure exactly how.
I have been baptized and I belive that Jesus came to save us from our sins
and i totally accept that. But is that all you have to do? It seems really simple.

You don't even have to be baptized, all you have to do is believe with all your hearts that He's the only way, truth, and life, and accept his perfect love and grace.. that's it :)

Well, you do have to be baptized. I mean like, for the people out there, who WANT to be baptized, and don't have the chance, I believe that God will somehow save them. But, if you have the chance to get baptized, and you do not..then...I can't decide that ^^. Haha. "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned." Mark 16:16. ..or even this verse "And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord." Acts 22:16 (not sure which version of the Bible this is from :) )

in our everyday life,its a battle of good and bad that happens in our hearts.
If we tend to look for Jesus's help in it,it's a great thing,Becuase the last days are near..and the time when ur faith is tested,is the hardest,are u still going to stand for Jesus and ur belief even when the troubles come and death will look u in the eyes?
In those kind of situations,faith is all u have.So to be ready for heaven think of spending more time with Jesus,by reading the Scriptures,singing praising songs,praying and getting to know God better.Because faith has it's ups and downs..and beying baptised doesnt guarantee u eternal life.
Christian life isn't easy,because as humans we tend to sin alot.But Jesus wants us to work on ourselves,on our atittude because attitude is the only thing we'll have from this earth in heaven.so good luck in this every day battle :)

I worried about being ready for Jesus for a long time--until Pastor Steve pointed out what it says in 1 John 5:11-13: "God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. he who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life." You have the opportunity every morning to choose to have Jesus in your life. If you do, you have eternal life. It's that simple!
