Ok so lately my friend and I have talked about what we call "devil" worshipers in the music industry. She told me she's given up listening to many artists because they are apart of this group called the "Illuminati" which are I think a group connected to Satan. My biggest issue and shock was when she told that Beyonce was a "devil worshiper". I was completely shocked and couldn't believe it..until she told me to look at a certain picture. A picture that looks pretty creepy ane eerie. Take a look:

Now if you look closely at this image you notice that it looks like the Sign of Satan which is this:

This seriously creeped me out. But made me realize that Satan does work through music to get Christians like us. I don't know about you guys but I do love my music aside from gospel and christian. I love all sorts but like my best friend I'm slowly begun to stop listening even though I can't help but sneak in a few listens here and there. But I really wanted to see peoples response to this issue.

It does sound harsh........ But satan is using music to get into the heads of the youth.

Okay, a number of points here:-

1) Whoever said that was the sign of Satan?! The Bible certainly doesn't. The image of Satan being this hoofed, goat-headed creature is a figure of popular culture and literature, and has no basis in scripture. Indeed, the Bible describes him as a being of light and the most beautiful created being. So your labelling this as evidence of devil worship has no basis in scripture.

2) To be honest, the 'Illuminati' reference your friend was referring to is totally false-she has probably been reading "Angels and Demons" by Dan Brown too much. The Illuminati were actually a secret society of enlightenment in Bavaria in the 18th and 19th century.

3) My belief is that there is no reason why you shouldn't listen to music that you like. I listen to all that kind of music, and so long as you are aware that it is only music, and have the strength of your convictions, it shouldn't affect you at all. I think that people who are afraid that listening to a song will shake their morals have little faith in their own convictions.

It does have a basis in Satan worship. Just because a symbol is not spoken of in the Bible, it can still mean something to people, and symbolism is powerful. Following your reasoning, a logo does not represent its product or company because that logo (symbol) is not mentioned in the Bible.

Look: If someone is using symbolism from witchcraft or Satan worship, that is a strong warning. Can you honestly say that there is nothing wrong with paying to listen to someone who worships the enemy of God (and, in effect, YOUR worst enemy as well)?

I'm not going to make a judgment about Beyonce (I don't even listen to her anyway), but I would be careful about listening to music sung by people who worship the "god of this world" whether they are simply secular artists or actual devil worshipers.

i agree with you,SivartM.
at my school's chapel the speaker brought the topic of Beyonce. Beyonce's husband Jay-Z is apart of a satanic group, and because she is married to him i think she has chosen to be part of the group as well. the symbol she is wearing is the symbol of the satanic group she is in, it is different from Jay-Z's group.
also Jay-Z calls himself "little hovah (if that's how he spells it)" just like we call God Jehovah, that in itself is wrong.

How do you know Jay-Z is a part of a Satanic cult? Where is the proof/evidence? Moreover, where is the evidence that Beyonce has joined this group?! Find me one solid bit of evidence. I think you should verify your claims before casting slanders at people, and serious slanders at that

what if it's true what will you do or say??

If it is true then I would be rather shocked and surprised, and of course it would change the way I looked at them. But at the end of the day, we live in a democracy and everyone is entitled to their views. Innocent until proven guilty, however. The onus is on people making accusations to back up their claims.

sometimes one may not have seen evidence/proof but it does not mean it's no true, do you know that??
sometimes there can be an evidence, but people may choose to not beleive it. do you know that again??
