hey Nick,
just realized I hadn't responded to you. I'm sorry. Thanks for the welcome to the Flow...
to answer your question: working with Adventist youth on non-Adventist campuses is both my career and my ministry. It's a blessing to be able to combine both!

No, I use to be and would like to get back to being involved. We moved to a small town and they need something here for youth.

Hi Nick, I tried to respond to the topic of the week but every time I tried to send it was kicked out because it said that I entered the wrong code. Could you enter the following message please:
Interesting thoughts! But before you give into bitterness (which by the way is one of the devil's most crippling tools) consider this: In Psalm 73:3 David was envious of the wicked because they were doing so well when he was doing so bad until he realized their pleasure was very short lived compared to the eternity he (as long as he was faithful) was bound to enjoy. In Psalm 37:16 he makes this statement: A little that a righteous man hath [is] better than the riches of many wicked. Having been through two major embezzlements and a slew of other disasters I have often wondered why but statements like this one in God's Amazing Grace help me keep the right perspective, "There are homes for the pilgrims of earth. There are robes for the righteous, with crowns of glory and palms of victory. All that has perplexed us in the providences of God will in the world to come be made plain. The things hard to be understood will then find explanation. The mysteries of grace will unfold before us. Where our finite minds discovered only confusion and broken promises, we shall see the most perfect and beautiful harmony. We shall know that infinite love ordered the experiences that seemed most trying. As we realize the tender care of Him who makes all things work together for our good, we shall rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. {AG 355.4} I hope this helps. If you want to talk I'll be around.
Thank you,
Lee

thanks Nick. It's a pleasure. Richard from periodicals suggested that I check this out. We spent some time together on Sabbath and He suggested that I introduce you to Dynamic Youth at some point. His daughter was in the week of prayer that I conducted at HVA a few weeks ago. Thanks again for the welcome.

Hi Nick...
I saw your profile and I we got a few things in common. I am also married and have got two cute girls. They were born last Sep 27th.
I work as a translator and own a translation company called Bravo! Translations.
I see you're the marketing manager for insight. We do translations for major companies worldwide, but, you know, I have this strong desire to use my skills as a translator to the cause of God. If, by any chance you guys think about translating the site into other languages, kindly remember me. Or if you also know other means I could benefit from as a Christian translator, also let me know.
Thanks and have a blessed day!
- Hander. ;c)
